Steps continued from above.
- Determine which items you will need based on the number of students, grades, and class sizes.
- The time of year can impact which test level you administer to your students.
- For grades K–2 (Levels 5–8), you will need a write-in student booklet for each student. Grades 3–12 (Levels 9–17/18) use a separate answer document and reusable student booklet for each student.
- Test Administrators need the Directions for Administration for each group of students testing together.
- Order materials at least 4 weeks before designated test date. Order online, or email a copy of the order form (PDF) to [email protected]. Bulk ordering is an option.
- Prepare for testing by reading the Iowa Assessments Scoring Worksheet and having test administrators review the Directions for Administration. Create unique student IDs using the school’s assigned prefix. See the Scoring page for more details.
- Order scoring services before sending materials to be scored. See the Scoring page for more details. You will need to return the completed worksheet when sending the test for scoring.
- Create results reports. Schools are notified when tests have been scanned and reports can be created. This should be 2–4 weeks after tests arrive at BJU Press. For more information, watch this video.
