In the Biology Student Text, students will see God's power and glory in creation as they learn about cellular biology, genetics, taxonomy, microbiology, botany, zoology, and human anatomy. When studying topics such as Creation and evolution, human cloning, abortion, and stem cell research, students are pointed to Scripture as the ultimate authority and are encouraged to develop a biblical perspective about these topics.

This textbook serves its purpose wellI am not a huge fan of textbooks. This textbook has all the information the students and I need to learn the curriculum. We use it as a reference and to look up extra details about concepts. I personally enjoy having the lab book to go with the material.

Best Biology curriculumWe worked with a local University to help with our Biology labs. When they reviewed our BJU Biology curriculum, the informed me that it was exactly the same level and labs as their Gen. Bio. 101 and 102 classes. As my kids are hoping to go into technical fields, this confirmed that it was exactly the best possible curriculum for our needs.
I love the way the textbook is laid out and the continual bringing all things back to a Biblical perspective. I am confident that by using BJU science we are getting the best homeschool (or any kind of school) education possible.
I've heard some complain that it is difficult, but upon more investigation I found that those families haven't had solid science before high school, meaning they have a lot of extra learning to do. We started BJU science in 4th grade and are so thankful we did! I can be confident that my kids will have the best chance at success in college and beyond thanks to BJU science!

Great BookThe content of the book is wonderful. The teachers love it and the kids seem to enjoy it. Great set up and content. The only problem that we have with the book is that it is meant to be nonconsumable. Maybe our students are just hard on books but we rarely get to use this book multiple times. For this particular book, we use it for Biology I and Biology II so we do make it last two years but we treat it more like a consumable book.

Not easy to use. Hard to find material for each lesson.I had seen reviews similar to mine. Years ago, when we had used the material ( elementary grades) there was an ease use of the material. Do not know what happened to this. VERY UNSATISFIED.
