Your elementary students can maintain and extend academic skills over the summer or anytime with our Vacation Stations activity books. Just two pages a day provide review in math, language, and reading. Do you know what the unicorn of the sea is? Rising third graders will enjoy learning about the ocean and seashore while reviewing two- and three-digit addition and subtraction, place value, parts of speech, and reading and study skills. Two reading selections are included in each week. Composition and proofreading activities are also included.

There are better books for reviewThis book starts out by reviewing very simple math concepts (think single digit addition) and never really gets much harder. The redundant format (reading passage, short answer, math page) was boring to me as an adult - naturally, my kid was even less interested. The stories are ok but the comprehension questions are overly simplistic and do not encourage critical thinking.
In short, there are much better books out there. This one isn't worth the money.

Excellent bookExcellent book! My son goes to private school and this was a great review for him. A lot of math and English. By far, then BEST book for my son for the summer. Also, I liked how they have a lot of reading comprehension.
