Student Edition
The student edition uses engaging visual elements to guide students in their understanding of the material. A variety of feature boxes, including Health and Ethics, Health and Media, Healthy Life Skills, Hands-on Health, and Global Health on Mission highlight practical applications of health topics. Each section starts with a preview of vocabulary terms to help with reading comprehension. The student edition is designed for students to work through independently if desired and is written on a grade 9 reading level.
Teacher Edition
The teacher edition offers guidance for differentiated instruction and includes student-led discussions, guided questioning activities, peer teaching, formative assessments, and hands-on activities. Many new resources have been added in BJU Press Trove™.
Assessments
The assessments packet is carefully aligned to educational objectives. It includes 1 test per chapter and a question bank teachers can use to create their own assessments. An answer key is provided.
