“The biblical story—the narrative of Scripture—is not just a great story. It’s the true story. It gives our young people understanding about life. It gives them purpose for life. It gives them hope for life. And it is the way they come to know their Creator who has done so much good for them now and wants to do good for them for all of eternity.”

Biblical Worldview Course Overview

Biblical Worldview Educational Materials

Student Edition

With carefully designed objectives and chapter assessments, the Student Edition guides students through a deep look at biblical worldview and how it affects their interactions with the modern world.

The 2nd edition of Biblical Worldview Beyond the Basics is rewritten to ensure a clear, unbroken thread from objectives, to instruction, to assessments. With a BJU Press Trove site license for teachers, teachers have access to technology resources including online videos for nearly every lesson and webquests that send students digging deeper into worldview issues.

Teacher Edition

The Teacher Edition uses multiple teaching strategies to engage all learners. These strategies include quick write, Think-Pair- Share, data analysis, online video analysis, brainstorming, collaborative writing activities, and traditional lecture-and-response instruction.

Throughout the Teacher Edition, strategies are flagged for students to use in their end-of-the-year portfolio project. The Teacher Edition includes rubrics to help in grading the project. New for this edition, the teaching cycle is included, with activities for engagement, instruction, application, and assessment.

Assessments

25 chapter tests are included. In addition, non-test assessment options—such as essay prompts, videos, presentations, and reviews at both the chapter and section levels—are available in the Teacher Edition and on BJU Press Trove. Please note that the answer key is available separately and is not included with the assessments.
