Return for Scoring Checklist

Stanford Tests

  • If Student Information (name, gender, date of birth, and grade level for each student) was not entered at the time your scoring order was placed, you must upload this information online before materials can ship. You can enter this information manually, or you can email us an Excel file with the Student Information for everyone who will be testing.
  • Print Return Labels and Packing List (PDF). The top portion of the Packing List must be filled out and returned along with the tests to be scored. Students cannot be excluded from the group for Stanford.
  • Fill out Scoring Service Identification Sheets to be placed at the top of each corresponding grade. (One per class for grades K–3; one per class for grades 4–12).
  • Please organize test documents in grade order from lowest to highest with student names facing up. Prepare answer documents by checking for damages, light/improper marks, and other matters that could cause issues with scanning. (See Directions for details.) Make sure names have been entered inside and outside of the document. Review documents for any skipped subtests.
    • Grid School Name, Grade, and account number (i.e., School Code) on front of SSID sheet using the Group Name as it appears on your “My Tests” page. (This is the same name entered on your scoring order and shown on the printed Packing List.)
    • Grid teacher name on back of SSID sheet—20 characters or less.
  • Package the tests securely so that they do not shift in transit.
  • Once we receive your completed tests, results should be available in 6–8 weeks. Please be aware that BJU Press cannot control delays.

Iowa Assessments

  • If Student Information (name, gender, date of birth, and grade level for each student) was not entered at the time your scoring order was placed, please upload this information online. If you choose not to upload this information, you must email us an Excel file with the Student Information for everyone who tested.
  • Print Return Labels and Packing List. The Packing List must be filled out with the names of any students who should be excluded from group reports and returned along with the tests to be scored.
  • Completely fill out one purple Building Identification Sheet for the school.
    • Grid name of school (Building Name) using the Group Name as it appears on your “My Tests” page. (This is the same name entered on your scoring order and shown on the printed Packing List.)
    • Use your account number for the Building Code.
  • Blue Sheets: If you will be testing more than one class in a grade, fill out one blue Grade/Class Identification Sheet for each of these classes (e.g., one for Mrs. Smith’s second grade class and one for Mrs. Green’s second grade class). If you have only one class per grade, you do not need these sheets.
  • Organize the documents and identification sheets per the instructions on the back of the purple Building Identification Sheet. Prepare answer documents by checking for damages, light/improper marks, and other matters that could cause issues with scanning. (See Directions for details.) Make sure names have been entered inside and outside of the document. Review documents for any skipped subtests. Package the tests securely so that they do not shift in transit.
  • Once we receive your completed tests, results should be available in two weeks (allow an extra two weeks in May or June), provided all the above steps have been followed carefully. For help with this checklist, please contact us.

Protect your investment by insuring your boxes and shipping them to us via a traceable method, using the return labels provided. Please fill out requested information and attach our return label to each box of scoring materials that you ship.
