Achievement tests can be used to compare test scores with other students’ test scores, reveal possible academic strengths and weaknesses, and assess students’ reasoning skills and knowledge of concepts and subject matter taught at their grade level. Certain test score reports include a Lexile level based on the students’ reading level.

BJU Press Testing & Evaluation offers The Iowa Tests^® (ITBS/ITED) and Stanford Achievement Tests to schools or homeschooling parents who want to assess their students’ academic achievement. These standardized tests may not be used as “practice tests” for an upcoming test administration.
