Submission Policies | SoundForth

SoundForth is always looking for new material to publish. We seek to publish well-crafted, traditional sacred music for churches, Christian schools and individuals.

You may submit your work either of the following ways:

1. Email your piece as an attachment in Finale or as a PDF to soundforth@soundforth.com. Include your name, email address, telephone number and mailing address.
2. Mail a copy (do not send the original) of your piece to: SoundForth, Greenville, SC 29614.

We request that the music be typeset, with the voicing (SATB, etc.) and/or instrumentation clearly marked. Please make sure that your arrangement is fully scored with accompaniment as well. We typically do not arrange outside submissions.

We ask that you send your arrangement to one publisher at a time. If your arrangement is already at another publisher for consideration, please wait until you have heard from that publisher before sending it to us.

An editorial committee meets two to three times per year to evaluate submissions. Once a decision has been made, we will contact you regarding the acceptance or rejection of the submission. Piano and instrumental committees meet at various times throughout the year. Please allow a minimum of three months for a response.
