Sample LessonsVideo Lesson (printed material sample)Most of IBE's video courses consist of lectures taped from Bible classes offered at Bob Jones University. Each lecture averages 30 to 45 minutes in length. As participants view a lecture, they complete a fill-in-the-blank outline in the accompanying study guide. Each lesson typically includes a Scripture reading, a memory passage, and an optional textbook-reading assignment. The sample pages correspond to Unit Two, Lesson 20 of the video course Molded by the Master: Principles of Christian Growth taught by Dr. Mark Minnick. They are taken from the leader's guide, which includes the answers to the fill-in-the-blank outline and suggestions for group discussion. Sample
video lesson in PDF format Written LessonIn an IBE written course, participants begin by reading an assigned Scripture passage. Then they study a lesson that expounds the passage and highlights its application to daily life. They also answer review questions and memorize one or more verses. Additional activities are often suggested. In a group setting, participants complete each lesson at home, then meet to review and discuss what they have learned. The sample is from Unit Two, Lesson 10 of the written course Future Events, Present Duty: Studies in Old Testament Prophecy. These pages are taken from the leader's guide, which includes the answers to the review questions as well as suggestions for group discussion in the "Notes" column. Sample
