High School Calendar

The academic year for students enrolled in The Academy of Home Education generally runs from mid-August through early June with various holiday breaks scheduled, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a spring break.

The AHE school year requires a 180-day enrollment period which is necessary in order to validate the units of academic credit, particularly at the high school level.

The school calendar provides a structure for grade reporting with a view toward the timely and successful completion of all course work prior to graduation.

High School Checklist and Timetable of Due Dates

First Semester

Second Semester

End of Year

  • Second Semester reporting deadline*.
  • Complete the Re-enrollement Form and submit along with the annual administration fee for the new school year.
  • AHE Family Camp and Graduation Event
  • Graduation ceremony for the Academy of Home Education seniors at Bob Jones University.
  • Receive the student's final report card and checklist when all grades have been submitted for the year.

*Late fees ($25/form) are required after this date.
