Pricing for the Elementary–Junior High Program

A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $75 must accompany the application. This non-refundable charge pays the cost of processing the application. After acceptance into the program, an annual, non-refundable administrative fee of $175 will be assessed ($140 for the second student, and $125 for each additional student enrolled concurrently). This yearly fee covers the cost of mailings to the parent, maintaining the student’s permanent record, and ordering spring achievement tests.

The purchase of BJU Press curricular materials will be the responsibility of the parents. These materials may be obtained either new from the publisher or used from local sources. An order form will be provided upon request by calling 1.800.845.5731 or you may order online from BJU Press.

Because of our desire to assist you and the need to standardize self-reported evaluations, it is highly recommended that test banks or test packets be purchased from BJU Press in all academic areas in which they are available.

Transcripts

One of the main benefits of The Academy of Home Education is the formal transcript for your student which we can provide at any time during the student’s education. Traditionally, these are requested when a student makes application for admission to a college or university or another school program. All requests for transcripts must be submitted to the AHE office either by mail, fax, or e-mail. The AHE will provide at no charge five official transcripts and one unofficial (parent copy) transcript. A fee of $10 is charged for each additional transcript. Transcripts can be released only if the student’s fees are paid in full, and a two-week period is required for processing the transcript request. If the transcript needs to be prepared in less time than the normal two-week processing period, a $25 rush fee per transcript must accompany the request.
