Elementary–Junior High Checklist
The checklist provides an informative overview of the school year as well as a guide for meeting important deadlines.
- Mail application and non-refundable application fee to The Academy of Home Education, 1700 Wade Hampton Blvd. Greenville, SC 29614. Upon acceptance, a welcome letter and invoice for the annual nonrefundable administration fee will be mailed to you.
- A portfolio of information will be sent upon payment of the administration fee.
- Obtain BJU Press curriculum materials for all required subjects.
- Keep an attendance record. A 180-day enrollment period is required.
- Keep weekly grades for each subject on the Quarterly Grade Reporting Form.
- At the end of each quarter, mail in the completed Quarterly Grade Reporting Form. Your report card will be issued if the yearly administrative fee has been paid in full.
- Mail in the spring achievement testing order form to the AHE office. This form is included in your portfolio. Your testing materials will be mailed to your qualified tester. Testing should be scheduled for mid-March.
- Test results will be mailed to you. If test scores are lower than the minimum level established by AHE, a home school consultant will contact you to assist in remediation.
- Complete and return the Re-enrollment Form along with the yearly administrative fee for the new school year.
- Receive the student’s final report card when all grades have been submitted for the year.
