- How Lightning Works — Explanation on all that goes into lightning
Chapter 9
- Amusement Park Physics — This is an interactive site about building roller coasters. It explains slope, design, and safety. Students can build and test their roller coasters.
- Simple Machines Construction Site — A simple machine construction site monitored by Bolts, the job foreman. This site is interactive and informative, with puzzles and questions that can be answered online or printed out for classroom use.
