Used in conjunction with the BJU Press Physical Science Lab Manual, The Logos Science Physical Science Addendum and Lab Kit contains information, equipment, and supplies your student needs to fully experience the world of the physical sciences. Logos has adapted the Physical Science Addendum and Laboratory Kit with the BJU Press Physical Science Lab Manual to: 1) eliminate the need for high cost equipment, 2) maximize safety for non-laboratory settings, 3) maximize the advantages of non-traditional learning environments (e.g. home school and small class settings), and to 4) encourage recognition of the glory of our Creator by witnessing the interactions between physical components of His marvelous works first-hand.

Excellent material!Very happy with the learning method. This is our second year homeschooling and every time I see it easier to use. I would recommend this to all of my friends.

Convenient, but at a price...It is definitely less expensive to buy this kit than to purchase all of the items needed for the labs outright. The kit is planned carefully, and where they have substituted one item for something else, they have explained and given appropriate instructions. All of those are good points.
However, we ran into an issue with the very first lab. The dinosaurs provided for the displacement activity were intentionally smaller to allow for a smaller beaker. The problem with this is that the dinosaurs provided were too small, and literally did not displace any water. They were too light to break the surface tension, and even when I forced them into the water, they still didn't displace any, so there was nothing to measure! (You may want to provide your own small dinosaurs for this experiment, in other words.)
I haven't run into further problems, so that may be a one-time issue, but that was a little disheartening for the very first experiment.
Otherwise, it seems to be a pretty good product.
