ITBS & CogAT Grade 4 (Form C, Level 10/B, test combo)

ITBS & CogAT Grade 4 (Form C, Level 10/B, test combo) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Content I noticed that some questions are confusing to the student, and to me as well. There were four choices, and two were very similar in meaning. Depending on how the word is used or the subject being addressed, I can see why a student may choose one answer above another, but if that student never experienced such a thing, then they wouldn't know which answer would be best. For example...a combine. Luckily my kids did live in a rural area and knew what it was, but I grew up in the city and had no idea what this machine was until I was an adult, living in a rural area. I think these need to be addressed in the test itself in all sections.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent test I am very pleased with not only the quality of this test but how easy it was to administer. We homeschool but I have seen some of the standardized tests they use here in our public schools and they are confusing and frustrating, but this one was a great test of overall knowledge and critical thinking skills without the "gotcha" kind of questions other tests have. This one was very straightforward and I was very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thorough test I've used this ITBS test for our children (grades 7, 6, 4, 2) for two years now. It is very thorough, and the final report is loaded with helpful information. It's very helpful for identifying areas for improvement and trends from year to year. Much more thorough than California Achievement. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, Solid Measure of Academic Standing We were satisfied with the information we gleaned from using this assessment. It provided guidance regarding our students' weaker areas and confirmed the areas where they already excel. It was a very straightforward process from start to finish.
