Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality and Value This is the third time I've used this test. I love that it is easy to prepare, great in quality and academic excellence. I'll continue using it for my other children, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Major fan of the Form C We have used Form C in various levels for 7 years now. I always thought they were well done... covered most areas.. and the results were easy and VERY informative.. very thorough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iowa Test & CogAT Made Easy through BJUPress This is the second year that I have ordered and administered the Iowa Test for my homeschooled elementary student. The process was easy from ordering, administering, returning the test, to receiving results. I appreciated that the results were in ITBS standardized format. This is a great option for homeschool families or groups looking for a standardized testing option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Administer I had my doubts about administering the test to my daughter initially. However, after reviewing the guidebook I realized the instructions were easy to follow and I would have no problems administering the test. If you have apprehension, don't you'll be fine. FR

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a thorough test. The combined exam was too long. It became exhausting. I only recommend the one test.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Out-of-Level Testing for Profoundly Gifted Students As background, I purchased the 6th and 3rd grade tests for my 9 and 6 year olds, respectively, on the advice I got from other parents of profoundly gifted children in our nationwide network and on the advice of two child psychologists for the gifted. I did this for annual testing purposes, and I chose an out-of-level exam that was approximately the level of their homeschooling assignments. PROS: The test was comprehensive and easy to administer. I was able to proctor the test myself at home. The test helped to show my students what future testing will be like (SAT, etc.). The test was reasonably priced when compared with other types of annual testing options. CONS: Even with frequent breaks, the test is VERY long! As an out-of-level exam for such a wide age gap, there is very little peer comparison available for percentiles when dual scoring for grade vs. age peers. In conclusion, the test didn't reveal anything I didn't already know, because after all, it is a test of "basic" skills. In the future, I plan to test one or two grades higher than their working level at home so I can see where the deficits are, and I won't request additional score reports for their age peers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good guage We are first time homeschoolers and so have never given the test before. I was nervous that I may mess up the test. However, it was easy to give and very straight forward. It was so helpful in evaluating my third grader that we are ordering one for our 4th grader who is not required to test this year by our state. However, we won't be ordering the CogAT again as it added no informative information at all. It was not worth the extra cost or time.
