ITBS Grade 6 (Form C, Level 12)

ITBS Grade 6 (Form C, Level 12) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use After quite a few years of using the ITBS tests, I can use this with ease. There are only a few problems with the test questions themselves (unclear illustrations and biased questions towards public school children), but overall it gives a good picture of how the student is doing compared to the national norm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to check progress Great way to check progress of a homeschool student. It was easy to administer and a great price. My student didn't need as much time as they were given so it did go quicker. The report gives you a good snapshot of areas that need to be worked on as well as where the student is doing well. I used the paper test to give my student practice with that format in preparation for high school tests. The results were emailed in a timely manner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this test is doable The ITBS test is helpful in assessing student progress. It includes separate tests for skills, which enables parents to understand which areas show most improvement, and which areas need additional improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ITBS Grade 6 Form C My family functions as a private homeschool, so we do not have mandatory annual testing. We chose to test our 6th grader to see what areas need bolstering and what areas our student has mastered. The materials were easy to follow and thorough, and our student was able to successfully take the entire test without having previous standardized test experience. It covers a full battery of subjects, and we plan on using this test for all of our students throughout their older years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ITBS Grade 6 (Form C, Level 12) Item is as described. Some of the test questions are outdated for content/cultural relevancy, but that doesn't detract from the overall benefit of the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from end of year testing made easy I did not actually use the product, it was administered to my daughter thru our homeschool group, so I really cannot review it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something Different We test at the end of the year to do something different and just to review what has been learned throughout the year. For the most part, the testing is an accurate review of what has been taught and hopefully learned for the year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from test opinion I appreciate the clear layout and the validity of the test questions. The questions actually test what they are supposed to be testing, without ambiguity. It is a blessing to be able to use a good test to measure the skills or the needy areas for each student. I wonder how appropriate it is to allow calculators. Does the use of calculators hinder the discovery of mathematical deficiencies? Does the use of calculators as an OPTION possibly distort the comparisons with other test takers?
