Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well Made Test This test is the first level that I have found to be a more accurate representation of what my child knows. The tests before this one were too short (which is understandable considering their age) to really get a feel for what they know. There were a decent amount of questions per section to get a feel for what your child understands. The test was well made and easy to follow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the results page and easy to do I gave ITBS/Iowa as a teacher. I liked the results that were sent back to me as a teacher as I could tell strengths and weaknesses for each child for this snapshot. As a parent I chose the IOWA for these reasons. I love using BJU Press because it was simple for me to compare last years scores to the test this year. I was able to see growth and areas of weakness. I personally wouldn't use another company. Materials are sent on time. Return envelop makes returning test materials easy. And test results are received within promised time frame. I'll be ordering for the end of Third grade next year. Thank you making this service available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, Great service I would absolutely recommend this test for any homeschool parent. It was 100% clear as to what my role was and even instructed me on exactly what to say. The test was clear and easy to use. The customer service at BJP went above and beyond on two occasions; once after I ordered and again after I sent it in. I know exactly which company I will use for future testing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helping a new homeschooling family Friends of ours recently decided to homeschool their 2nd grader part way through the school year. Since we had homeschooled our sons all the way through, they asked for assistance and advice. One of my suggestions was to use the Iowa standardized tests for the state requirement of some sort of testing at the end of the school year. Our sons had graduated 6 to 9 years before so I hadn't looked at this stuff in a while but Iowa had been my preferred source for end of year evaluation. I was not disappointed (nor was this new homeschooling family) with the information they received about how their child was doing and the strengths and weaknesses that will need to be addressed in this next school year. I was pleased to help with the testing and found it to still be easy to work through and thorough in its coverage. The only slightly negative comment I can think of is that a few questions may have different answers possible that were not presented as possibilities (Christian world view versus public school world view). Other than that, I was extremely pleased with the testing and the information garnered from the testing.
