The Math 1 Teacher’s Edition, 4th ed., is designed to help teachers successfully implement the math materials by making the students active participants in math lessons. Each lesson contains background information, teaching strategies, and questions that guide teachers in teaching lessons that help students successfully understand the concepts of each lesson. Two new chapters have been added to the Math 1 educational materials—a chapter on plane figures and one on charts and graphs. The Teacher’s Edition also includes reduced-size student pages along with answer overprints for easy reference and grading. The Teacher’s Toolkit CD, located inside the back cover of the Teacher’s Edition, contains additional teacher helps.

ProductsI really like the content of this math curriculum. I like the sequence so it doesn't get boring for the students. I like the repetition and review of the concepts taught throughout the whole curriculum so students stay fresh on all the skills.
The only downfall I find is with the manipulatives. There are a lot of different parts and often are more time consuming to get out and distribute then I find worth the benefit.

Teacher's texts are fine. Student work texts are not.I like the teacher's edition of the Bob Jones material, but the student workbooks are basically very difficult to work with because they fall apart. In our system, we definitely need the student's work texts to stay bound together. When the pages start falling out, the students lose pages that they haven't even completed yet. It has really caused a problem with the kindergarten through second grade classes. I've tried different ways to manually bind the books together such as glue or strong packing tape. None work very well. Please bind them together to stay. If teacher's want to pull them apart, perforate the pages, please.
