Reading 6 Student Text (2nd ed.)

Reading 6 Student Text (2nd ed.)
Look inside this book
Reading 6 Student Text engages students with a variety of character-building stories as well as classical literature selections from which biblical principles are drawn. An emphasis on literary elements, higher-level thinking skills, and vocabulary enrichment is a bridge to the traditional literature classes that begin in junior high. The student text includes samples from classic authors, Charles Dickens, Kenneth Grahame, Emily Dickinson, and Robert Browning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My child didn’t want the book to end Reading 6 is engaging and covers a wide range of topics and reading material. My child loved this subject and was so sad when he finished the class. I was impressed with the vocabulary and comprehension questions presented. It teaches the child to really think about what they’ve read. Best of all, it was fun!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 6th Grade reading I like this 6th grade reading edition better than the previous BJU edition. I thought some of the things in the previous one were unnnecessary for 6th graders, and those activities were taken out. I would, however, prefer the kids to have 3 choices to choose from for multiple choice and most seem to give only 2. I like the vocabulary pages in the back for extra vocab practice.
