Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Program This grammar/writing program is exactly what I had been searching for: colorful, complete, lots of review, high standard of excellence, and a broad variety of writing experience. When I pulled my daughter out of private school, I had to put her a year behind in the BJU curriculum because it is advanced (or my private school was not up to par...). BJU is worth the money and the Biblical integration is exceptional. I am very thankful for this curriculum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Writing made easy with step by step instructions I've used mostly Abeka for all the elementary grades as well as 8th and 10th grade. All three of my older kids struggle with writing, although strong in grammar. Looking at Bob Jones for my 4th grader, I was impressed with the process of breaking down the writing steps. The grammar seemed similar to Abeka's, but the real difference was the incorporation of writing through out the curriculum and the step by step instructions of how to write. My daughter, who has never like the writing assignments, completed her first personal narrative and said "Writing is so much easier now. It tells me how to do it." I would agree with her as her writing is no longer a laborious task, but a simple method of breaking down her ideas into paragraphs, then revising and proofreading her work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This product does a good job of explaining grammar and circles through a little deeper ever year. Just enough teaching examples and independent practice to teach without busy work!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Program! This is our first year using BJU Grammar and my daughter loves it. The introductions are fun for her, and we like to read them together. As for the curriculum, it is very well planned out and organized. It is very teacher friendly and the lessons are short enough to keep the children's attention. I love that I can introduce the topic and let her do the worksheets on her own. She also feels a sense of accomplishment knowing she has mastered the concept when we do the review pages. Overall, I love this program and would recommend it to everyone! Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BJU Language BJU Language is an excellent curriculum! I taught with it in a Christian Private School and currently, I am homeschooling my children. BJU's curriculum is organized and easy to use. I really like the layout for the Language, especially for the writing sections. Writing is really hard to teach, but the BJU Language is very helpful with outlines for the different types of papers. I highly recommend BJU Language!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Writing Areas Weak Book is well put together. Some areas need to be edited and updated- business letter, tall tale, research protocol.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cost Cost is steep for my wallet when there are other curriculum choices out there that includes the teachers guide, answer key and workbook.
