Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a fun and easy way to learn Spanish. I needed an easy to use program to teach Spanish to my 6 year old son and he is really loving this program. At first I thought it was expensive, but you get a lot in return. The materials are high quality and the video lessons are paced well so that he doesn't get overwhelmed. My older son even likes watching the videos with us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love it! I tried other Spanish programs before this, hoping to spend a little less, but none of the others went very well. I've been using this program with my 9 and 11 year olds and we love it! The videos are geared for younger kids, but the content is perfect for my beginning Spanish learners and they don't seem to mind. I'm learning it right along side them. The workbooks are definitely geared toward young elementary school and we haven't used them too much, but the flash cards at the bottom of the workbook pages have been extremely helpful. I cut them out and laminated them and put then on a ring for all of us to review daily. We generally do 2 new lessons a week and review what we learned the other days. I like the combination of explaining how Spanish works along with just teaching how things are said. For example, I don't think we've reached a point (we're at about lesson 30) where the teacher has explained how to make the plural in Spanish, yet it's been used and modeled and we've picked it up fine. Too many explanations of rules is so tedious and language is frequently better caught than taught. I'm sure there will be some conjugating verbs down the road, but I'm glad we've avoided that so far. My kids really enjoy the program and so do I. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and effective My daughter is 7 and has had a little Spanish in school. This is more involved than what she was doing in school and she loves the program. We now homeschool and she loves the DVDs and songs. It is easy to use and the teacher's edition is user friendly. The units progress at a good pace so they don't get bored. I will definitely continue using and would recommend to anyone looking for a beginner Spanish program for kids.
