The Narrative Approach is a WinnerWho Is this Jesus? presents discussions of four non-Christian faiths through a series of discussions among fictional characters. The dialogues provide for easy reading, and the supplemental notes for teachers provides a wealth of meaningful information and ideas for activities.
There are two chapters devoted to each of the following: Judaism, Islam, Mormonism, and Jehovah's Witnesses. The first chapters for each topic focus on the history and key tenets of those faiths. The second chapters present examinations of those faiths from critical viewpoints, including from the Bible.
Before integrating this curriculum into our Christian school, I taught from it to a small group at our church. The feedback I received from the participants was very positive.
I think the text is appropriate and readable for young teenagers through adults.
