Writing & Grammar 11 Student Worktext (2nd ed.) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very complete and challenging This book is very complete. It includes more exercises than is necessary for one student to complete. The sentences used to demonstrate the various parts of English grammar are interesting in themselves which adds to the students learning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I appreciate having beautiful materials to enhance the joy of learning I have used this curriculum with 5 children... I will be "passing" for the last time this year. My other children have done well on the college level. I attribute some of their success to beautiful BJU books. The material is explained clearly. The review of skills is creative because the sentences serve as dual learning... rather than "random" sentences, the exercises tell a story from history. I also like the writing challenges. The book is simply intuitive for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love BJU Writing & Grammar My 6 kids have used BJU Writing & Grammar for over 20 years. They love the way the exercises teach them about many things and people--They are not just random sentences! My freshman son wrote a paper in college, and I was told it was Master level! I think the great foundation by years of BJU Writing & Grammar paid off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite grammar program of all After trying several different programs over the years with our children, we finally found BJU's writing and grammar curriculum. I have now used it for years, and it has even worked for all three of our children. I like it because the lessons are clearly explained (the ESL section breaks difficult lessons down even further), and as a whole the curriculum covers every imaginable area. The curriculum writers chose very interesting subject matters from history, science and the Scriptures for most of their "working material." Our oldest son, who is in college now, has been fairly well surprised at the lack of quality fellow students have delivered when they've done peer reviews on writing projects--I attribute this to his good training in grammar and writing all through high school with this curriculum. And for me it made grading less tedious as I knew I'd get "rewarded" with something interesting. :) So, I definitely recommend this curriculum.
