Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helpful product I began using the SAT/Olsat when my daughter was in third grade for use as a comparative after we began homeschooling. Her school used the SAT. She is now in the tenth grade and I have been able to track her areas of strength and weaknesses for seven years. I appreciate the breakdown of the tested areas. Administering the test is easy also. I would recommend this test overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Assessment Tool for my 9th grader NY state requires high schoolers to be tested yearly using "nationally normed" tests. Having taught my son since Kindergarten, I felt the results were in line with his strong subjects and also areas we didn't review this year (ie: 8th grade probability/statistics and hence lower score there). We didn't "prep" for this as I plan to use the scores to direct my review next year to ensure mastery (as opposed to short term memory).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great SAT prep I've used this test for two decades. The combo reveals student weaknesses and strengths in order to guide instruction and monitor progress. The content measures student's mastery according to national standards rather than one textbook or curriculum. This helped our kids prepare for the SAT and they did well without taking the PSAT (which was more expensive and conflicted with our schedule).
