Who may lease your DVD packages?

Our DVD packages may be leased by those who qualify as residential home educators. If you qualify as a conventional or Christian school, a school package is available directly from BJU Press. Please call 1-800-845-5731 for more information.

What is included in each DVD package?

Our DVD packages and pricing include your lease of the DVDs as well as your purchase of all the materials our teachers require you to have (i.e. teacher editions, student worktexts, etc.). A list of items included in each package can be found in the BJU Press Total Homeschool Solutions catalog. Please note tests and answer keys not listed under a subject typically indicate that either the teacher has written tests and has included them in the course handouts or has not made it a required item.

How long may we keep the DVDs?

When you order a DVD package, you are leasing the DVDs for 13 months from original shipping date of the DVDs. The textbooks and course handouts are yours to keep.

Are we able to keep the DVDs for subsequent children?

Yes, you may reuse the DVDs for up to one additional consecutive year after the initial lease for $349 (grade) or $199 (subject) each year. Our course handouts (Mom’s Minutes, Teacher’s Tips, etc.) may be photocopied for multiple children; however, textbooks may not be copied.

Do you have any special policies for those living outside of the United States?

Yes, we have a limited foreign order policy. Please e-mail dvdinfo@bjupress.com for more information.

Do you offer a choice of subjects for each grade level package?

Yes, we allow you to make up to two horizontal changes per grade package. For example, you may select 4th grade Math rather than 5th grade Math, or you may select 10th grade Biology rather than 9th grade Physical Science. Elementary and secondary substitutions must be made within their own division, respectively. Other restrictions apply.

May we lease subjects individually?

Subjects in 7th through 12th grade can be leased individually. Elementary subjects are available in complete grade packages only.

What costs are involved if we choose to use your DVD lease program?

In addition to the lease cost, you will also be charged applicable tax as well as shipping and handling.

Do you offer any kind of payment plan?

No, we do not offer any payment plan at this time.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes, if for any reason you are not satisfied with our DVD packages, you may return them within 30 days from original shipping date of the DVDs for a refund minus shipping and handling and the cost of any materials no longer in saleable condition. You must first obtain an RMA and instructions by calling 1-800-845-5731.

Am I able to exchange any subjects after I place and receive my order?

Yes, if you are still within the 30 day guarantee policy time frame, you may call 1-800-845-5731 and make arrangements with a customer service representative. Exchanges are charged a fee of 15% of the package price.

What kind of equipment do I need in order to use your DVDs?

You will need a DVD-R player. While our DVDs do play in many other types of players, they are only guaranteed to work in this one.

Do you need any kind of paperwork or signature forms from me before I can place my order?

We only require that you agree to our BJU Press Distance Learning via DVD Terms and Conditions before you place your order.

Do I need to let you know my school start date?

No, we no longer require a school start date. All DVDs must be returned within 13 months of the original ship date.

How and when will I receive my DVD package?

Our DVD packages are normally sent via UPS. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery once the items have left our warehouse.

Please note that our DVD’s may be shipped in up to three increments – Modules A, B, and C. You will normally receive your first shipment of DVDs and all of your textbooks within the same week. We process these orders as quickly as possible in the sequence they are placed, and you can typically expect to receive all items within 30 days.
