BJ LINC Spanish 3 Course Description

The Spanish 3 course builds on the grammar points of Spanish 2 as the students develop their conversational, reading, listening, and writing skills. Key grammar points include the past and perfect tenses and the subjunctive mood. The Spanish 3 course will expose the students to the civilizations of both Spain and Latin America. Reading comprehension exercises include several selections from the textbook. Speaking exercises include recitations of Scripture passages.

Course Level: Grades 11–12

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Spanish 2

Meet the BJ LINC Spanish 3 Teacher

Mrs. Rebecca Saldivar, B.S., M.S., had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home. The Lord saved her when she was seven years old. She began her study of Spanish in eighth grade and has loved learning about the language and the people. Due to her interest in Spanish, she graduated with a B.S. in Spanish Education and then completed her M.S. in Counseling. She has been able to travel to Spain and Mexico several times, one of which was on a summer mission team. She and her husband will be leading a mission team this summer to Mexico. Her favorite verses are Proverbs 3:5-6. She is thankful for the love of the language that God has given to her and wants to share it with her students.
