The goal of Precalculus is to equip students for college with advanced math skills. Lessons emphasize functions, graphing, and trigonometry throughout and introduce differential calculus. |

Course Level: Grades 11 or 12
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 is required.Geometry is strongly recommended but not required.
Meet the BJ LINC Precalculus TeacherDr. Gary Conn, B.A., M.A.T., Ed. D., grew up in Christian home and made his own profession of faith at a Christian camp in southern Ohio at the age of nine. Dr. Conn’s own interest in math was influenced by his high school geometry teacher who enjoyed teaching and made the class enjoyable for the students as well, even those that did not like math. Dr. Conn graduated with a B.A. in Bible Education with a minor in math from Bob Jones University, an M.A.T. in math from The Citadel, and an Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction from Bob Jones University. Dr. Conn is excited to return to BJ LINC after two years of teaching education and math at Bob Jones University.
