Course Description

Heritage Studies 6 presents the lands, people, and cultures of ancient civilizations. Mrs. Moon includes ancient Egypt, Israel, China, Greece, Africa, the Mayas, the Roman world, and the Middle Ages. The teacher contrasts ancient civilizations with the modern world with "Then and Now" maps.

Meet the Instructor

Mrs. Angela Moon, BS

Mrs. Moon has over ten years of experience in Christian education. "The main thing I’m concerned about is helping students understand the material—as opposed to just memorizing it—and helping them enjoy learning, so they’ll want to continue. Life is about learning. The Lord is constantly teaching His children lessons that are ‘new.’ If children learn how to learn, they’ll be successful in whatever area God calls them to."
