Can the hard drive be used outside the United States and Canada?
No, due to international software licensing laws. As a potential alternative, please contact customer service at 1.800.845.5731 for information on international use of our DVD or Online product.
Can more than one student use the same hard drive?
Yes, but it is good for each student to have his/her own textbooks.
How big is the hard drive unit?
About the size of a VHS video cassette. Approximate dimensions are: 8” x 1.65” x 5” and weighing 2.75 lb.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required.
Can I pay in monthly installments?
Yes, a payment plan is now available. Order two or more Distance Learning full grade kits and pay 50% now and 50% over the next six months.
What if the electricity goes out at my home?
Turn off the power switch on the hard drive and your computer. You will need to turn on both devices when power is restored. Do this during any electrical storm as well.

How long can I keep my hard drive?
The hard drive is yours to use for thirteen (13) months from the time your order ships. At the end of this time, please return it to us in the original box.
Will I receive Cash for College for my hard drive purchase?
Yes, if you are a member of the Academy of Home Education, Cash for College will calculate on this order.
With the hard drive product, is course work completed on the computer?
No, course work is included in the printed materials and teacher support CD that are shipped to you.
