Information for The Iowa Tests(ITBS®/ITED®)
- Form A tests are available for customers in most areas.*
- Order the Interest Explorer™ to go along with your high school level (ITED) test.
Tests including Interest Explorer will require 4-6 extra weeks for scoring. - The Cognitive Abilities Test® can be ordered separately or in combination with the achievement test.
*Customers in Missouri (grades 9–12) and the Virgin Islands will only be able to receive the older version of The Iowa Tests because of the publisher’s agreement with your state (areas subject to change). Private schools in the state of Iowa are also under this restriction. For these tests, computer scoring is not available, so the price of hand scoring will automatically be included.
Administering Tests | Qualifications
The publisher has established strict guidelines for test administration. Test confidentiality dictates that tests be administered and returned within 21 days after the initial test date and that they be delivered to and administered by someone who fulfills the following criteria.
For The Iowa Tests the tester must
- Have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree OR
- Be a teacher, certified by a state department of education to teach in a public school or other conventional school (homeschool or local association certification does not qualify) OR
- Be or have been a full-time academic classroom teacher in a conventional school (not a homeschool) AND
- Be listed with us as a pre-approved tester for this series by completing a one-time-only online tester application.
