Information for The Iowa Tests (ITBS®/ITED®)
- Form A tests are now available for testing.
- Order the new Interest Explorer™ to go along with your high school level (ITED) test.
- Computer scoring for Forms K/L/M and Form 5 CogAT® tests is no longer available.
- Customers in Missouri (grades 9-12), Utah (grades 3, 5, 8, and 11), Virgin Islands, and the
Dallas Independent School District will only be able to receive the older version of The Iowa Tests
because of the publisher's agreement with your state (areas subject to change). Private schools in the state of Iowa
are also under this restriction. For these tests, computer scoring is not available, so the price
of hand scoring will automatically be included.
Administering Tests | Qualifications
The publisher has established strict guidelines for test administration. Test confidentiality dictates that tests be administered and returned
within 50 days of receipt and that they be delivered to and administered by someone who fulfills the following criteria.
For The Iowa Tests, the tester must
• Be a teacher, certified by a state department of education to teach in a public school or other conventional school
(homeschool or local association certification does not qualify) OR
• Have a bachelor's degree OR
• Be or have been a full-time academic classroom teacher in a conventional school (not a homeschool) AND
• Be listed with us as a pre-approved tester for this series by completing a one-time-only application.
