Testing & Evaluation
Achievement/ Abilities Tests
- These standardized tests can be used to compare test scores with other students' test scores, reveal possible academic strengths and weaknesses, and assess students' reasoning skills and knowledge of concepts and subject matter taught at their grade level.
- Administration of these standardized tests is limited to homeschooled students (signed verification of homeschool status is required at the time of ordering) or to conventional private schools (school must place order, and total K5-Grade 12 student enrollment must be no more than 100 for The Iowa Tests® or no more than 500 for Stanford tests.
- It is unethical to use these tests as practice for any other test administration or to administer multiple tests to the same student.
- All testers (including each teacher in conventional private schools) must be pre-approved according to our qualifications.
- Testing materials are mailed to the qualified tester and must be returned for scoring within 50 days of receipt. Unused tests must also be returned, and refunds will be processed according to our guidelines.
- Costs include use of testing materials, scoring, and so forth, but not the purchase of the tests themselves. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for nonreturned or damaged materials (written in, torn, stained, etc.).
- Any test to be computer scored with spring norms must be received in our office by the middle of August.
